No more break-up songs (well, maybe just a few). Working on a different kind of music now, with meaning and purpose. Telling human stories in challenging times.

 

SURVIVAL, recorded at Hammond House Studios in Lincolnshire, is the eighth track released from my forthcoming album, SHORELINE, which imagines human stories and mythical tales in a world of rising sea levels. Inspiration comes from the poetry of children, the creatures of legend, and the sonnets of Shakespeare.

 

The title track from the album, released in January, featured a bluesy harmonica and a laid-back vibe. SURVIVAL explores relationships in an ever-changing world. The rock ballad of folk guitar and harmonica lets the lyrics tell the story.
