ETERNAL THREAD, recorded at Hammond House Studios in Lincolnshire, is the second track released from my forthcoming album, SHORELINE, which imagines human stories and mythical tales in a world of rising sea levels. Inspiration comes from the poetry of children, the creatures of legend, and the sonnets of Shakespeare. The title track from the album, released in January, featured a bluesy harmonica and a laid-back vibe. ETERNAL THREAD has a faster-paced folk-rock vibe with Celtic overtones. It opens with a combined string ensemble of 12-string guitar, mandolin and dulcimer, created with a 1970's style ARP Solina String Ensemble Polyphonic Analog SynthesizerStyle is a melodic blend of folk, country and rock.
